Chogori, better known to the world by the name of K2 takes its tribute. Anywhere between seven and eleven people of different nationalities perished on the most difficult mountain on Earth. Others would call it "The Savage Mountain" though it may well be named "The Widow Maker".Cold statistics: "If we consider the number of deaths coming down from the summit, K2 is by far the most dangerous [...] The problem on K2 is that if you reach the top, your chances of returning are significantly reduced." There are contradicting news. There are reports that some mountaineers are found alive. Apparently it all started when a block of ice fell and cut the fixed lines (ropes) in the Bottleneck.
